Our boy AP, who’s always on the lookout for that next-fresh-thing or anything Akomplice-related, sent us over this photograph that he found on the web. What’s this all about? Your guess is as good as ours, but one’s things for certain: this is one fresh action shot and Akomplice is getting repped to the fullest. Seeing Pos in this vest reminds me that somewhere deep in the crates I still have an unwrapped-original copy of ’3 Feet High and Rising.’ If I ever bury a time-capsule, that album’s definitely going to be in it. Attic, a streetwear mega-boutique located in Buena Park, CA has been holding down Akomplice for awhile now, and we figured it was time for a store feature, just to let ya’ll know what’s good. These guys actually have two physical locations: the original joint in San Diego, and the newer store in Buena Park which has become their flagship store. Plus they’ve got a sweet online store. Our boy Young De was just on the Jimmy Kimmel show performing alongside legends, Cypress Hill. Check this video and you’ll see Young De sporting our Family Crown Tee as he backs up Cypress Hill on the classic, “Insane in the Brain”. Keep your eyes open and stay tuned because Akomplice and Young De are teaming up to drop something big this summer!
Wednesday of this week, Terrence J of BET’s ’106 & Park’ rocked our Black-on-Black Bubble Logo on the show. The Black-on-Black’s straight exclusive, but our Bubble Logo is available in a variety of other colors as well. This photo doesn’t do Terrence J any justice, so hopefully you caught the full show on the 21st and got to check the Tee on TV. Booya!
Just about a month ago, Akomplice hosted an in-store appearance with Kidz In The Hall at Denver’s own boutique/salon: Family Affair. Kidz In The Hall spent the day hanging around the shop, getting dialed with new threads from Akomplice (Blown’ and Pull Wool shown here) while also getting freshly trimmed at Family Affair’s in-store salon. Artists and fans alike were all stoked to get their new AK gear and left raving about their new hairstyles. A good time was had by all, and the event helped Kidz In The Hall and the Crowd Control Tour Crew get excited for their show that night. If you missed it last time, just make sure you don’t miss it next time, as all of these dudes are real nice and went well out of their way to say ‘what’s up’ to everyone.
