This dog is too gangsta, in the U.S. you’d never see a cartoon dog taking a shit on an official government sign; the dog must have just eatin at Kebab Halal. A tip to all restaurant owners, don’t put a a photo of a huge hunk of meat on your street sign, just don’t look right.
Yep, that’s right another store feature. We’ve got to hold down the guys who hold us down ya’ know?! And Installation holds us DOWN. These dudes are super chill, and Installation is a core shop to the Boulder streetwear scene. We met with Raul, a partner in the shop, and Seth, the main buyer, and the two showed us around the shop. The sweetest thing about Installation, is that they live up to their name: changing the entire store display installation every couple of months, and keeping everything lookin’ fresh. We love this shop, and we’re happy to be sold in the shop that has probably the best shoe selection in Colorado. Word. More photos after the jump. Installation: 1955 Broadway, Boulder CO 80302 (303) 440-3820.
We recently teamed up with the Spanish division of Vice Magazine to do a sweet giveaway. Check it out here, just make sure you’re speaking Spanish. A very special thanks to Gorka for being instrumental in making this happen.
Life is surely sweet!! This dude is comedy, but every word he says is true, we met him at a lunch with the governor of Cannes France, also present was Benicio Del Toro and Tim Burton. It was a private lunch with many of the media groups that attended Cannes. Somehow this guy got in was drinking wine telling jokes and eating with a glorious grin on his face. He apparently make a life of it, amen brotha. Enjoy! More flicks after the jump.
The first photo is the block we’re staying on, I always like staying in a local area, you really get an authentic feel for the culture the second photo is my walk home. As I was walking back from the festival I noticed an invasion. Notice the huge space invader above the shop. This was most definitely the work of French artist named “Space Invader”. He secretly places these characters as well as other retro video game characters on the streets of the world. Each piece is a mosaic of ceramic tiles, you can find his art all over the world, and is my first time seeing a piece in real life. Keep your eyes open, street art is everywhere.
