Today we’re going to re-touch on the grand opening of the Akomplice flagship store. The night started as a social get together in the store, not only to present the buildout and look, but also to celebrate our Summer collection drop. 8 Summers will be a three post story showcasing the night and the facets it represented. For the first post we’re looking at the party and the store. The AK @ Project Fuzion store is located at 1115 State St. Santa Barbara, CA. Check the top photo which is the line 30 minutes before the opening, and below it are the Akomplice SB Brigade Girls. See the entire night after the jump.

Antonio was the guest star of the night, shout to Al!

This was a graphic we made as part of a collaboration project with Conveyor @ Fred Segal.  The original project aimed to spread awareness about the seriousness of global warming and some preventative solutions. More than anything the design represents our slogan, Evolution Through Innovation.

-Evolution is defined as “a process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form.”

-Innovation is defined as “a new idea or act”.

-The phrase Evolution Through Innovation could be translated to: Changing into a better or more complex form through new ideas and or acts.
