1. Yonas. Welcome to the family bro! How has working at the flagship store been thus far?<\/p>\n
Whaddup! I dig it a lot, very cool atmosphere. Great to see that people still have flavor and good taste in street wear.<\/p>\n
2. When was the first time you remember seeing Akomplice?<\/p>\n
Damn, my guess is either 2007 or 2008. You guys blessed us, U-N-I, with some goodies for our DunkXchange tour. I rocked the hell out of that Kate Moss shades of blue crew neck.<\/p>\n
3. Let’s talk UNI … What’s one of the craziest experiences you had on the road while touring with the group?<\/p>\n
I would have to say our time we spent in Japan. The moment I got off the plane, everything felt like I was dreaming. Just to know where I come from, then end up in Japan for a show with a thousand screaming fans was unreal g. You would of thought we were Jackson 5 or The Beatles from the way everyone was acting while we were performing.<\/p>\n
4. What’s next for you in your music career?<\/p>\n
I just released a mixtape with Mick Boogie called THE MIXTAPE BEFORE BLVCK SWAN THEORY & video for my song “Great Western Forum”. This is all to help promote my sophomore album BLVCK SWAN THEORY coming this summer. Excited to drop my 1st single at the end of this month called “Volvo”, I also have a video for it shot by Jon Augustavo. Look him up, he’s my Seattle fam with a great eye for the lense. What has been you dopest experience working at the flagship so far?<\/p>\n Knowing that I use to rock the Mohawk when it was U-N-I, I never expect people to remember my face without it. Every now & then tourist from Sweden & the UK recognize me & ask if I’m Y-O from U-N-I. Very funny to catch their reaction when I say yes.
