Our boy Carlton Cat further expands the breadth of our Paint Project by painting the roof of The Green Truck white using EnviroSafe Paint (America’s Premium no-VOC Paint) mixed with Miracle Cover (America’s Finest Liquid Sealant).  This paint/sealant combination worked wonders on the truck’s roof, turning the surface white and successfully sealing it against weathering.  Akomplice doesn’t stop at clothes.. we’re taking action to make it happen.  Walking our talk yaoming?!  Special thanks to Green Truck, EnviroSafe, and Miracle Cover!  Also stay tuned, as we’ll be painting a building’s roof white in the near future, in order to further illustrate the concept behind our Paint Project.  Check out more photos from the Green Truck paint day after the jump.

The worldwide online release of the Paint Pack is finally here. The Paint Pack is available online exclusively at the AK Shop. The Paint Pack is part of the Paint Project, which aims at the prevention of Global Warming. The concept is simple and yet very effective: ”Making roads and roofs a paler color could have the equivalent effects of taking every car in the world off the road for 11 years,” -Steven Chu, U.S. Secretary of Energy. The AK Team were in downtown LA wylin’ out after the NBA Championships!  The entire scene was completely off the hook!: mad swat teams, fireworks, roman candles, and people running rampant.  Crazy energy!  I mean, com’n!, how often do you get to be in a city’s downtown the night they win the finals!?  Plus we were partying with Panda!  For all the photos from the night check out: www.partywithpanda.com, or check out a few more photos after the jump.

The party was a huge success, even Eric Balfour came out to show his support. I was hyped because both Mike and I grew up watching Six Feet Under. On top of that, Eric was already on the movement and he told me how he had already painted his roof a reflective color, saving cash and the planet; now that’s what I am talking about! We released the Paint Pack and already sold a good amount of the limited run, so snatch yours quick before they’re gone.  Thanks to Flying Dog Ale for getting the party poppin with the dankest, meanest beer made in the U.S. Also shouts to Green Truck On The Go for all the amazing organic snacks they provided.
