At one point in the game, the 2nd-base umpire called the runner at 2nd base ‘out’ after a brief delay, making the Dodgers’ runner disgruntled and confrontational. This caused the Diamondbacks’ center-fielder to run in and get involved in the tense situation. One thing lead to another, and before anyone could do anything, all of the players from both teams ran onto the field like tough guys. And we’re talking EVERY player, including the dudes warming up in the bullpens, the pitching coaches, the base coaches, probably even the ball boys. For a second it looked like the game’s highlight was going to be a mega-brawl (blue versus red in LA). Ha ha.
