For the past 24 hours David’s been staying in Santa Barbara at Patrick and I’s spot. Orchestrated by Patrick and executed by Blake and David, this series is dope! It’s been really great to watch and see Blake, David, and Patrick make this project come to fruition. Tonight marks the release of not only the Akomplice X David Flores mini series but also the David Flores X Blake Peterson collaboration art series. The collection of pieces will be available for viewing at the Akomplice Flagship starting tonight (sept. 1st) at 8pm. The collaboration works will showcase a fusion of multiple elements, combining three very distinct styles. Nine new pieces will be showcased tonight. Akomplice and David Flores will host a night to remember. The evening will feature the unveiling of the Akomplice X David Flores mini series, as well as an art exhibit featuring new works from David Flores. In addition the night will showcase a live performance by Cypress Hill and Xzibit’s protégé Demrick, aka Young De, as well as DJ Chadillac. Party starts at 8pm on September 1st, which falls on the first Thursday of month. David Flores and the entire Akomplice crew including the designers will be in attendance.
