The Line: Akomplice Store Opening

The store opening last Thursday was an amazing success, packed with people and lots of love.
We have yet to release photos of the party and interior of the shop, but you can get your palette wet with this photo of the
outdoor line taken at 7:22pm, 8 minutes before we opened doors. Because the line was so long, none of our photographers were
able to adequately fit everyone in a single shot. Thus, we spliced these pics together to give you a better idea.

DOOM x Akomplice | Mystery Box

DOOM – Akomplice collab; our most intriguing project of the year. The release is being kept a mystery, just like DOOM’s identity. The project will only be available for purchase for a 1-day (24-hour) window on June 8th at 9am (PST). The crate, which is nailed shut, features Ak / DOOM logos laser-inscribed on its lid and comes with a custom designed steel crowbar to pry open the mini crate. The project is available exclusively at the Akomplice Online Store. The contents of the box will not be revealed to those who have purchased it until delivered and opened.

In 2011, while most companies are scaling back, Akomplice is moving ahead full fledged. Our latest endeavor finds us teaming with one of our long-term retailers, Fuzion (projectfuzion.com), to create a truly unique, collaborative store space. The signage out front provokes intrigue with the literal and metaphorical chain links between the Akomplice and Fuzion signs. The store is located in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara, California on busy State Street. The rest will remain a secret until the store unveiling, which will be held today, June 2nd at 7:30 p.m (PST). The night will showcase an exhibit of Akomplce’s lineage and will have hard to find items in stock dating all the way back to our inception. There will be fashion, music, art, and lots of cheers. This will be a monumental night in the history of Akomplice.
Peep a short teaser for the store. The film is aimed to convey an overall essence of where the store is located. Santa Barbara is a popular international tourist destination as well as a dope city for skating and surfing. See more pics after the jump.
