I flew out of a snow storm in Aspen to LA on March 1st. Blake picked me up on the 2nd to start our project, still a secret, but soon to be shared with the world. We tied in a sales meeting at our long standing retailer Conveyor @ Fred Segal. They have been carrying us for 5 years now. Wow. Then we took off all over LA. Stopped on Mulholland Dr to do a set of Qi Gong and wax about the future of AK with Blake. Then it was off to another sales meeting with the OG X-Large. X-Large is one of the pioneers of street wear so its an honor to sell at their store in LA. After we finished there, we cruised to the famous MR. Chows restaurant in Beverly Hills. During dinner I noticed this really fly girl talking to the table next to us. I thought she was just another hot LA girl. Everyone in this restaurant is the who’s who of LA. Then she walked out of Mr. Chows and was barraged with cameras flashing for like five minutes, crazy. Come to find out it was Kim Kardashian who I think looks much better in real life: smaller and more petite. That dinner also marked the most expensive bill I have ever paid per person. The food was amazing though.
