Earlier this week David Flores was commissioned to paint a mural on a wall of the Metro State Campus at Auraria in downtown Denver. This is a follow-up to the mural painted by Obey’s Shepard Fairey earlier in the summer. As you can see below David made a dope rendition of a lazy looking Snoopy, with Woodstock flying above. Earlier this week we brought you Patrick’s lookbook from Medellin, Colombia. It was both urban and lush, gritty and tranquil. It was marked by contrast. Here we have Mike’s lookbook, from the dunes of Florianopolis, Brazil; shot by Gabriel Vanini who resides 30 minutes from the shoot location. Remember this super classic AK design? Check out the biggest wheat paste that’s ever been e-mailed to us! This joint is right on the side of the highway, posted on both sides of a 25 foot tall billboard, and was submitted by an unidentified source. Big ups to the person or crew who did this.

This summer the owners of Akomplice Patrick Liberty and Mike Smalls traveled down to South America. Mike stopped in Florianopolis in southern Brazil for a few weeks and shot a lookbook, while Patrick toured through Colombia and chose Medellin as his canvas to showcase the new collection. This is a rare look into the two minds that created Akomplice. Mike tends to be more simple and clean with a palette for high fashion while Patrick’s style is more aggressive with strong contrasts. Relax your minds and if you’ve never been before, enjoy the journey down south to Colombia and Brazil!! The collection will be released on the Akomplice Webstore Friday at 12am.
